the beloved mirror.

Colin is just like his daddy staring at himself in the mirror. He loves looking at his reflection in his swing and I thought this floor mirror would be a good try. I was amazed how alert he was touching the mirror while looking at himself. What a smart boy! :)

1 week.

Happy birthday to our little stud :) Poor Colin was such a great sport while I took these photos. It really is amazing how he changes day by day. Justin and I are sleep deprived but so in love. It's amazing the conversations you have in the middle of the night when you are running on little sleep.

I love watching Justin with Colin. Justin has big plans for this guy when he is able to run around. I hope he is ready!

Tucker is doing A-MAZING with Colin. He rests his head right near him when he is sitting on couch/bed.

I am doing good. Recovery is tough and we are still in shock I carried a 9 lb 6 oz baby- but a very healthy one at that!

Colin Patrick Smith.

Colin Patrick Smith entered the world on April 12, 2010 at 1:12 pm weighing 9 lb 6 oz. We arrived back from the hospital on Thursday and are adjusting to life with our precious son. We are so in love with him and feel so lucky to have him in our lives. Parenthood really is an amazing feeling :)

We arrived home to a huge stork in front of our home. Thanks Meg for making our "homecoming" so nice. Lots more posts to come for our little man!

Thanks to all our family and friends who have helped us out, sent their well wishes and visited us. We truly are a very blessed family!

39 weeks.

While I have been hiding behind the camera the last month I decided to let Justin take one last picture of me just so that I have something to look back on. The last few weeks of pregnancy is not glamorous. I have felt like a penguin walking around but know it is all very very worth it. We can't wait to introduce our newest family member to the world. Please pray healthy happy thoughts!

I recently won my office pool for NCAA tourney! This is the second time I have placed in my office.. dont think the men are too happy but they would spend their money on beer. I on the other hand am treating myself to a Clarisonic and am sooooooo excited!!!

Spa day for Tucker that is :) Tuck is ready to go and really wants the treat that is in my hand with the camera of course...

lists.

We have every list imaginable on our refrig. I liked this little comment when i came in to the kitchen the other day on Justin's "to do". He was quite proud. He will find there are new items when he gets home from work today :)

I also like my list on what to do once labor begins. Some of it isn't pretty as we learned in class and Justin says he loves reading it when he goes to get food out of the refrig ;) He loves me.
