evan.

Evan will be two months shortly and I am just amazed at how the time has flown. When Colin was two months I remember being exhausted. Either I am just good at the exhaustion or you just become more relaxed having already been down that road. Evan really is an easy soul. He is following Colin with his stature but we have been very lucky with Evan's temperament.

We recently moved Evan into his room which is right next to Colin's. When I was pregnant I remember thinking to myself how are we going to make this work. Colin has been a light sleeper since the moment he was born. But things couldn't be going more smoothly. Evan's cries at night don't come close to Colin's when he was an infant. Let's pray it stays this way since I actually put that in writing. Actually Evan's "cry" is sort of a quick yelp which eventually turns into a cry. But he lets you take your time getting to his room. Colin's cries were more like a fire alarm (we love you Colin) as we stumbled (ran) to his room throwing a robe on.

Evan brings us so much joy. Colin absolutely loves Evan. He's only been put in timeout three times for hitting his brother ;) Boys...

Welcome, Brielle Kathleen Hoy! January 22, 2012: 7 lb 3 oz: 21 inches: 11:26 am

Meghan and Ryan added a gorgeous baby girl to their family and we are all so very much in love and I am looking forward to having a girl around. Colin and Evan will be sure to take great care of their cousin!

playdate.

Saturday we headed to the park with Colin's buddies Jackson and Wilson. They boys had a blast running around. After the park we grabbed lunch and then headed for some coffee. It was nice to get out and get a little time with Colin.

6 weeks.

Happy six weeks to Evan. Evan is going to be following his brother in stature. How can I possibly have two giant boys? We spend most our days eating and taking naps with the hair dryer on in the bathroom.

Meghan and Ryan welcomed Brielle Kathleen Hoy to the world on Sunday, January 22nd at 11:26 AM. Words can't even describe the emotion of the day so I'll let the pictures tell the story.














My sister is doing great. Brielle is cute as a button and Ryan seems to already be wrapped around his daughters tiny fingers. Love you all!

green smoothie.

The day Colin started eating table foods he has loved all fruit so its no surprise he loves smoothies. Veggies on the other hand.. forget it... unless you pour ketchup over them. I made him a fruit smoothie but added 2 cups of baby spinach, put it in 'moms cup' since he's obsessed with straws and he loved it!

{add frozen mixed fruit, 2 frozen bananas, 1 orange, fresh pineapple to sweeten, water and mix. Then add 2 packed cups of baby spinach}
