spring!

We enjoyed a nice evening on our deck celebrating the warm weather with our favorite activity- crab legs! YUM :) Justin, Tucker and I are enjoying time together before becoming a family of four. No news or progress in sight... still cooking :) Four weeks hopefully no more to go!

wedding shower.

I threw Meg a bridal shower this past weekend @ the shower central household :) My parents house really is a perfect place to throw a shower. Thank goodness for family being so close!!

Meg was showered with some gorgeous gifts from her friends. She finally now knows what I mean by being the center of attention opening gifts- it's not easy!

. Thanks everyone for coming out! It was so nice to see everyone and I can tell Meg's wedding is going to be just as out of control as mine was ;) She has some great friends.

maternity shoot.

I recently won a photo shoot with two very talented photographers! As most people know taking pictures of my belly is not something I would have done on my own, however, I am so glad Kristen and Lauren held this contest so I can treasure these photos years to come :)

Kristen took our engagement and wedding photos and I just love her work. She is also the easiest photographer to work with. She always finds a way to work with the sun in her pictures and captures amazing images like the one above. It was perfect timing- we were chasing the sun around Old Town Warrenton :)

Lauren is working with Kristen as an intern and also has such a creative eye! Lauren is going to the Art Institute and will graduate in December and is going to make a great photographer!

Our little boy was spoiled this past Saturday with a gorgeous shower hosted by my sister. She did a wonderful job putting everything together!

Mom thought this was a cute onesie :) I thought for sure it was a joke! He will still be shopping with me but we may have to forgo the outfit. And that gorgeous bassinet is a gift from Meg!

Justin surprised me with a absolutely gorgeous toy box to go in our nursery. He was very proud of his find :)

I met Kristen @ INPUT 5 years ago. Justin and I have gotten to know she and Casey over the years and recently discovered Casey is a pretty darn good singer/guitarist. more snow.

So. More snow as if this winter we hadn't had our fill. My baby shower that my mom and sis have been working so hard to plan had to be canceled for the massive snow we got this weekend. It was poor timing but Justin, Tuck and I did have a nice cozy weekend together.. so I can't really complain.

almost ready.

I am so excited how the room turned out and find myself just sitting on the glider to talk on the phone. Tucker thinks there is a new friend in the house with the HUGE giraffe Justin ordered. I can't wait for our little boy to see his new room!

Meghan and I spent the rest of the day shopping for clothes which was lots of fun.When we got home and took everything out of the bags we couldn't get over how tiny some of these onesies are! Thanks Meg for spending the day shopping with me and buying some very cute outfits :)
