Thanks to Rita my blog has undergone some major changes. She's pretty much awesome and we aren't done just yet!

And because a post would be boring without a picture below is a shot of my husband he allowed me to take of him :)

Aren't they handsome? Tucker missed his playmate while on vacation. Riley is so sweet with Tuck and let's him be a "puppy" around him. Tuck for some reason was so well behaved around the other 2 furry friends but when he came back to Riley's home he was back to his normal business. Tucker is going to miss Riley in a few weeks... and no honey we aren't getting another dog :)

What a vacation. It was most definatley Colin's vacation but so glad he got to see the beach before his 1st birthday :) Enjoy the pics!

Colin recently had a mini photo shoot with our one and only KG :) Read her blog post/favorites here! We were going to do newborn shots but I decided that I wanted to wait until Colin developed more of a personality. Just a few of my favorites...

I love these picstures of Justin- he looks so handsome. Colin loves to fly in the air with his dad. His mom just can't do the heavy lifting :(

Our next session is in November! Can't wait to see the difference between the two ages!

I received an early bday present and have been playing with my new Macbook. Thanks mom and dad!! Colin and I love to play with the "photobooth" while dad is at class :) Colin loves looking at himself!

These past almost 5 months I have learned more lessons than my brain consumed in 18 years of school. To name just a few random thoughts.. ive learned...

*To always be one step ahead of your child (with a toy, a bottle, pacifier..).. always.be.ahead.
*That a smile really can just crush my heart and a laugh just destroys it
*That being a parent is a huge responsibility but has the greatest rewards
*To cherish my conversations with friends as they are few and far between. Thank goodness I have very understanding friends
*That what happens one day may not repeat itself the next
*That material things don't matter and neither does doing my hair in the morning
*That coffee is my best friend and not just one cup like the old days
*To accept help and not to feel defeated when I need it
*That talking to myself in the car is normal
*That my singing is remarkable {at least my son thinks so}
*That tearning up when my son smiles at his daycare provider is normal
*That family really is everything
*To remember the small moments because they really do matter the most
