date night.

Thanks to the Hoys, Justin and I were able to enjoy a nice evening out. I spent ALL DAY at the spa at Lansdowne and Justin met me after I was done. We enjoyed gorgeous views while at dinner, drinks at the pub and sipping on our cocktails on rocking chairs until the bar closed.... we had a great night out :)

I'm not normally "personal" on here, however, I feel so thankful to have Colin that I thought I'd share...

A year ago today my doctor got on the phone to tell me my blood work was not looking good and I had most likely miscarried. I left work in a bucket of tears and probably shouldn't have been driving. The roller coaster of emotions Justin and I went through in a 2 week span was exhausting. I was met at the door with my mom and sister of course- even though I told them not to come to my house it would only make me more upset (I should have known better). The next day I received another phone call from my doctor to come back in.

She then sat down to tell me in a very soft voice... she made a mistake. Made a mistake?! My blood work had been mixed up. I was confused, shocked, mad and happy. I was a mess in that office. How was I going to go home and explain this to Justin?

We dealt with excitement, loss and happiness (with caution) all within 2 weeks. Someone was looking down on us. Now a year later I have this face to look at every.single.day and feel very thankful for the mix up. I could not imagine my life without this man...

Colin at 4 months has rolled over from belly to back, LAUGHS, recognizes his mom and dad from afar, loves his toys especially his new jumperoo, and will stop what he is doing as SOON as baby einstein comes on the television. Colin @ 4 months weighs 18 lb 10 oz!

Boxes packed up and we are officially moved out. We said goodbye yesterday to our first home. After 3 short years we have outgrown our gorgeous home. I love everything about this house and memories we have created in each room. What a great home. I get sad just thinking about it.

Shortly we will have a new home with new memories to fill the walls. Meghan and Ryan have generously taken us under their roof until October when our home will be ready :) We are so grateful for Meghan and Ryan. It's been fun so far and I love having a live in Nanny and a personal cook :0
