Colin was baptized over the weekend :) He did great as we all held our breath before the cold water soaked his head! Colin wore Justin's old gown Justin's mom HAND MADE. I wish I knew how to sew! We had a great day celebrating despite the heat!

Daycare day #2. We are very lucky that I was able to stay at home with Colin for 3 full months and I am sad to say my maternity leave has come to an end. Yesterday was hard to say the least. I held my breath knocked on our in home providers door and took him downstairs. I thought I was doing great. Then I said goodbye. Not good.

I am able to work from home the majority of the week which is nice should there ever be any problems our provider is a neighborhood away. There are times where I have glanced at his playmat expecting him to be there. It's going to take some adjusting but Justin and I know that at this point to provide Colin with a great life and a big backyard mom must keep trucking :)

3 months.

It seems like yesterday we brought Colin home from the hospital. Above you can see how he has changed in just 3 months! Also these pictures are becoming more and more difficult as Colin does not like to sit still!!

At three months:

*He watches as I walk away from him. It's pretty amazing that his eyes can follow me around the room.

*He loves tv and watching his baby Einstein dvd!

*He has these loud screeches when he gets excited.

*He sticks his tongue out at all his toys.

*He can hold his head up very well but it does still flop around!

*He loves his baby carrier and comes in handy in the evening hours sometimes.

*He loves Tucker :)

*He is beginning to reach out to objects- like dads nose or a toy above.

*He is able to lift his head much better when he is on his tummy and his legs shoot upward- but still no success. Maybe he will roll for us this coming month?! :)

I think 3/4 months is really an exciting time and when a lot of moms seem to tell me they notice major changes. I can't wait to see what Colin has in store for us next!

pool = spa.

Colin... ASLEEP in the pool. He loved the water :) I must admit that I was not planning on putting him in the water so young but at 3 months I decided it was about time with this crazy summer weather we've had! So I ventured to the store and bought a long sleeve wet suit and covered every part of his body I could... this shouldn't surprise any of you. Colin loved the water!! OBX here we come!!

With the 4th comes lots of traveling, lots of hamburger and hot dogs and of course seeing all the flags flying. I love this time of year when everyone celebrates! My sister grabbed a quick shot of Colin and I when I was dancing around with him this past weekend and of Justin "walking" with Colin :0 Hope everyone had a great 4th!

Though our life has been busy the last few months we have to thank our lucky stars that Tucker has been so so so great with Colin. Tucker DOES wake Colin up in the morning when he gets up BEFORE him but that has been my only complaint. Hopefully we can slowly teach Tucker that 5:30 am is not ok to go to the bathroom and eat. It means the entire house gets up!

Colin and Tucker really are the best of buds... Tucker lays down with Colin whenever he is on his playmat and just watches him- it is the sweetest thing ever. We love Tucker so much and really our house wouldnt be any fun without Tucker's personality.
