Colin's Second Birthday.

A few weeks ago we had a small party for Colin. Instead of doing a massive party with details we just got him a massive cake (thanks mom) and spent the day with family and friends. The weather was perfect and it was toy heaven in the backyard for all the kids to run around. Colin loved having all his friends over to his house to play. He's such a ham!

Evan's Baptism

Evan was blessed this past weekend and we enjoyed a gorgeous afternoon celebrating with close family and friends. Justin's mom made that gown and now Justin, Colin and Evan have all worn it. I love hand me downs with a story. Evan fell asleep in Justin's arms right before we went up and when the water touched his head head he just opened his eyes with an annoyed look. The church laughed when Evan was held up along with "awwws". We were especially in the spotlight on Sunday since no other children were blessed with Evan.

Julia held a party at her new house and all the kiddos played. Thank you everyone for adding to our children's massive book collection! We have the most amazing family and friends.

Colin is Two!

Colin just celebrated his second birthday last week and loved all the attention. He doesnt quite understand birthday's but is willing to take a cupcake or a mound of balloons any day.

Justin and I are convinced we have THE most active toddler out there. He doesnt stop for a moment except maybe 5 minutes before bedtime. If anyone wants excercise- our gym is free.

A few things about Colin:

- He is THE most lovable toddler around. He would give a stranger on the street a hug if they asked.
- He says "hiiii mom, hiii" when he knows I am not happy with him. So adorable... can't help but laugh and melt.
- He absoluley hands down is the best brother out there. He loves Evan so dearly. Watching Colin interact with Evan is just the sweetest. We were so nervous when we brought home Evan from the hospital and Colin SMACKED him over the head at 4 days old. I thought "oh my god what have we done." But apparently Colin just wanted to show who was boss and has been loving since.
- He has the most insane walk/stride. He already has developed an "im too cool for you" walk.
- Don't even get me started on his dance moves. He loves all things music and really knows how to dance.. something he did not learn from his father :) Obviously its all momma in his moves.
- He began out of the blue saying 3 word sentences. Not all sentences are clear but I know what he is saying. He is such a little sponge.
- He loves rough housing with his dad. I get so nervous when they rough house but Colin seems to undestand its not ok to rough house with mom. Just dad, thank you.
- His tantrums have become quite the show. I recently discovered after interacting with some moms in his class that I am a huge push over.. but that is ok by me. I'll be stern with him later.. maybe?
- He seems to do or learn something new every day. We are having such a blast raising Colin we just need a constant stream of coffeee over here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUMPKIN!

Easter 2012

We were all over the place this weekend as you can see. It may take we a week to unwind :) Colin loved hunting for eggs but as usual doesn't like to put them in his basket since they are all "MINE".

Evan now laughs and Colin now talks in a few sentences. We are changing by the day over here. These boys are so entertaining and both at the best ages. Happy Easter Weekend!

saturday morning.

Just some activities around the house while dad painted Colin's soon-to-be big boy bedroom and mulched. Colin has hated that four wheeler since the day he got it. He is very scared of all things that move but to our surprise he fell in love with it this weekend. Thank goodness! Evan loves watching Colin around the house. I have to admit that toddler is pretty entertaining. Evan even laughs at Colin when he is throwing tantrums. It's quite great.. the laughing not the tantrums.
