warm winter days :)

Weather in January has been crazy but on the warm days its nice to get these kids out of the house. There is a local park in Ashburn that is heaven. It has different sections for each age and the kids love it. Colin ran into one of his buds at school and we got to meet some sweet parents. Evan tries so so hard to keep up with Colin. It's cute and sad all wrapped together.

Brielle is One!

I went from having one wild child to gaining another boy and niece within 6 weeks. How on earth I was going to spread my love I was not sure. But I can't stop squeezing this little girl. What makes our connection so special is she thinks I am her mother until Meghan comes walking around the corner. So we can trick her for the time being. I love her to pieces and I can't wait for all our tea parties to come. Happy first birthday Brielle!

Thank goodness for a very patient sister of mine I asked if she would take a photo of the boys and I. They are growing way to quickly for me and I just want to be sure they have a few photos of their mom when they look back on their childhood. We just drove right up the street, hopped out the car and brought my bribe props which unfortunately I had to use. Thank you Meghan!

winter months

winter makes us a little stir crazy around here. while i love the mood of the winter and "relaxing" I can't wait for the warmer months ahead. With Evan now walking and Colin seriously doting over Evan I can't wait to watch them both play together... OUTSIDE.

I love hearing Colin ask Evan questions.. "evan you want more milk, watch this evan, evan sit down i read you book- do you want fruit snacks, its ok evan we're almost home... the sweetest.

looking back

It's hard to keep up with traditions with two babies but this is the only way I feel my photos are going to make it and be viewed years to come. I have yet to finish my BLURB book but that is one of many resolutions this year. All the photos we take as a family I really need to get them off the internet and hard drive and onto books. But for now we like to watch DVD's :) Here are the previous versions ( 2010 + 2011). I can't wait to gather the kids around to watch this years video.
