anniversary.

Justin and I just celebrated our one year anniversary in Old Town Alexandria. We went to Charthouse for dinner and then walked around Old Town and grabbed a few drinks. While we were sitting at the bar I decided to pop into a palm reading place across the street... I was told that I am lucky in love, will have 3 children (hmm), and live a long healthy life!

It is amazing how quickly this year has flown by. Last time this year I was frantic getting everything ready :0
A moment from last year :) That dance lesson really paid off. At least Justin's moves.. thank goodness he didnt drop me!

captiva island.

We just returned from Captiva Island. Mom and dad gave us this trip as our Christmas gift last year and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was so nice to spend time with everyone. I am so lucky to have such a loving family. I wouldn't trade it for the world :) I have handsome hubby, loving parents and the best sister in the world. Picture above is our last night out :(
Mom was trying to get the guitarist to play "the family song". He finally figured it out and we made mom and dad dance :) She insisted we listen to the words. James Taylor- Shower the People. Great song.
We took a white/khaki pic on the beach @ the crack of dawn (or it felt like). Mom wanted a picture for next years Christmas card. The house we stayed at sat right on the beach and was very relaxing. Although most of my time was spent @ the pool. I'm not a huge fan of sand :x

Sunset Cruise. I love him :)

happy birthday tuck!

Tucker turned one :) I can't believe it has been about a year since Tucker came into our home. We decided during our honeymoon we would come home and get a family dog. And that we did!We were a little nervous driving home from Annapolis with Tuck in the back seat. I felt so bad tearing him away from him mom.. but he didnt cry once on the way to his new home. Since that day it has been nonstop but we love every minute with our pupster :)

He loves his froggy :)

Here is one of his puppy pics.. when he could barely reach the couch.

Very easy to crate train this one :) Look how tiny he was... so precious. I try not to look at his puppy pics otherwise I'd get another.

On that note...we just heard from the breeder that the family can no longer take care of the mom and Tuckers brother. They are in need of homes. I wish we had room but we don't :( So if you know of anyone that has room for these lil guys let me know!
