Evan Nine Months

Evan changes so much month to month. But nine months has been quite a joy in our home as he is finally sleeping through the night. Evan smiles mostly for his brother and watching the two of them interact has been my favorite part of motherhood to date. I love the stage when they first learn to crawl and get excited over making it to the toybox. But I mostly love this stage because they love mom to pieces. It's short lived so I try to soak up each moment when I can. I love this little surprise in our life :)

lately.

Evan has been home some of this week mostly doing this and breathing treatments. They know Evan by name at the ped... poor thing.

when colin gets home we watch him run around in circles outside until he throws an award winning fit when he has to come inside... poor thing

pre gaming

Before the big game Justin and Colin as Justin called were "pre-gaming" in the front yard. While Evan napped I got to sip on my favorite iced chai. Football Sundays are back... and its good news when the Skins win in our house.

Brielle's Baptism

Brielle was baptized over the weekend and did so great. She loved listening to the choir in church and fell asleep right in front of them. She is such a doll and really has the sweetest personality. She smiles so easily and her cry is a joke. It's a little whine. Seriously? I hope Meg and Ryan have a boy next. We came back to our house and threw Brielle a little party. I can't wait to watch Brielle grow up.. that smile of hers is the widest I've ever seen!

and of course we had to try to get one with some of the kids... colin and evan are so well trained.. wonder how long that will last :)

bath nights

Bath nights are every other night in our house and thankfully both boys love it. It's so much easier now that we can stick them both right in there. I hate infant bath tubs. We usually bath both of them at the same time but then Colin likes to spread out and "swim" in the tub so we take poor Evan out of his way. Then Colin likes to run around our bedroom naked until we can pin him down to get his PJs on. I hope Evan isnt taking notes.

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend at the beach and in the sun. The closest thing we get to that are our wineries. We do love them :) 'Pop Pop' celebrated his birthday and retirement and we celebrated with him over a few bottles...
