Hard to believe that it was over a month ago we brought
colin home from the hospital and set him in his gorgeous bassinet to sleep. Those were some
veryyyy long nights. Aunt Meghan gave Colin his bassinet and it came
equipped with a remote that vibrated, played music, spun the mobile and turned on a light. Justin and I would sleep with this remote right next to us. The vibration would stop after 5 minutes so we always quickly hit the button once again praying he
didn't wake up.
Then one day I said lets just try the crib. Babies make tons of cooing noises. Even though Colin
wasnt crying he kept us awake during those nights and I was always getting up to make sure he was
ok. Now that he is in his crib we only hear when he cries rather than
Coos. Our video monitor also helps keep a peace of mind. Colin seems to love his room... now if only I could teach him to nap in his crib during the day. One thing at a time :)
